How to qualify

A new Citibank checking customer must open a Regular Checking account between 4/14/26 and 10/26/26 directly from this page and enroll in the offer the same day, then deposit New-to-Citibank funds within 45 calendar days; the balance on day 45 ($30,000 for $500, $200,000 for $1,500) sets the bonus. That balance must be maintained for another 45 days (balances may be held in the checking account or a new Citi Savings account), and the bonus is paid between the 90th and 120th calendar day after account opening if the account stays open and in good standing.
