Open a new Chase Total Checking account as a new Chase checking customer (existing or recently closed Chase checking customers are not eligible) and have qualifying direct deposits of paycheck, pension or government benefits totaling at least $1,000 posted to the account within 90 days of enrolling in the offer. The $400 bonus is deposited within 15 days of meeting the requirements, provided the account is open and unrestricted at payout.
